Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Black Olive Craving - never had this before wls OMG, I have been trying to ignore the craving for these puppies for a week now. Finally, today I cracked and made chili with ground turkey and threw in a can of black olives...it tastes soooo good! Anyways, I'm guessing they are ok since the whole can has 11 carbs, 27.5 gr fat (I'm thinking good fats right?) and the chili worked out to be 8 1/2 servings. Pre-op I would never have believed I'd drool over these! LOL Laurie

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Boy do I have craving and some weird ones to top it off. My first craving was the black olives and I still have the craving for them and then it was the green olives and I am slowing down on them because they just are so salty to me now. Then it is the cucumber and the pickles. I also crave sweet sour foods, like pickled watermelon and sweetsour cabbage. I have eaten pickles with yogart and some other things. My husband looks at me funny sometimes when I eat funny things which I never did before and the combinations of my cravings are weird too. So the cravings we all have just comes along with the territory of the surgery. I just sit back and enjoy them.
