 |  Bypass as outpatient By now I am sure you girls know that I can never just have things go as planned right..lol.. So Friday I got that good news about my biopsy and then on Monday I got a letter in the mail from my ins company and we were in the car when I first got it and I couldnt even breath ..I had to open it right there and then. So I open it and I see that they want more information from my DR. They want to know why gastric bypass cant be done as an outpatient and they want more information from my Dr. as to why I need more then 24 hours post op care. OMG.. So I call the DR. office and had to let a msg of course. And after a few hours of just being beside myself I get a call from the Dr. Office and she tells me that they have never gotten anything like this before and that the same ins company okayed two other woman for the same operation the week before with the proper in patient time allotted. I said ahh what I am to come home with my cath and IV sheesh.. She said that my Dr. was really upset and went to the director about it first thing. WEll that was Monday and today right now about fifteen min ago I got a call from the ins company saying I was approved.. YEAHHHHH... I just got home from my follow up for my biopsy and he wants me to go back for a follow up mamo in April and is sending a release to Dr Ku for my by pass. So Doc what do you think about that one..lol Roux n y out patient..omg.. And special thanks to Kenya for talking to me on yahoo while I was waiting for my call back from the Dr. I was really stressed out and it was nice to have some one there to help me out.. So hugs to you girl.. Now I have two weeks till surgery and next Tuesday is my PAT and physical at the Dr.s office. Lets see what can happen between now and then..lol.. I was really happy to see they actually called me to let me know they finally got me Approved..lol I hope someone got there butt chewed out..lol..
