Default not sure if i am doing this right??

Hi, I do not post to often but I read everyday. Today marks me 2 months post op. I have lost 35 lbs. This is where I am not sure I am doing this right. I get more than enough protein, all my water and vitamins, and work out 4-5 days a week. I know 35 lbs is good in 2 months and couldnt have done that on my own, but the majority of that came off right after surgery and now i average 1 lb a week. My doctor wants to see 60 lbs gone in 3 months--how am i suppose to lose 25 lbs in a month???? I am sure the inches are going cuz i feel a difference in my clothes--but i feel like i am failing if i dont reach my doctor's goal. Any advice??

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

thanks Dawn. I was trying to do small protein snacks in between meals and i think i am going to cut those out and replace with water and see how that goes.

Don't stress out about your surgeon's number. Your body will lose at it's own pace, at what's healthy for you. Stressing out will make your body hold on to everything. Your body is still healing and adjusting inside, and this takes time. You'll start losing again soon enough.

my doctor was concerned about me losing 65 pounds by my 3 month mark....typically, they want you at the 1/2 way mark at 6 months...

It really sounds like you are doing great!

Don't fret. I'm right there with you, almost 7 weeks and only at 30 pounds lost, stuck for over 2 weeks. We can do it together! I'll drink more if you drink more!

You sound like you're doing great!

I haven't set any true time tables for myself because it's a sure fire way of setting yourself up for disappointment when you should be proud!

You're eating right, drinking, excersing and your body will lose at it's own pace. Edie always says we didn't put it on overnight, so I wouldn't worry about your surgeon and just keep up the awesome work!

Honey its gonna come off as it pleases. The Dr would have to agree with that. Im sure the will be happy with the loss you have so far. If anything up your walking a tad and see if that helps.
