Default Backed up 7 days post-op, what should I do?...

i'm not dehydrated because my water intake is excellent during they day, and i'm not inactive, so i know it's not lack of exercise holding me back...anything else i need to look at changing to help prevent this from happening again?

also, what can i do to "get going?" i haven't pooped in 2 entire days and i'm feeling the effects

pre-op, this would not phase me, but now it's entirely different, yk?

tia.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Awwww
Since you are still early out, the first thing you should do is call your surgeon and ask. You probably need a laxative at this stage, but your insides are still healing, so best you ask your dr.
Hope you

KAT i agree with DOC to talk to your surgeon being your
only 7 days post op.
See what he suggests.
I have heard post op people useing SMOOTH MOVE TEA which
you can get in GNC...you drink a cup at night and by morning
all is fine. BUT because your new out your surgeon should be informed.
UNFORTUNATELY i didnt experience this!!!
GOOD LUCK
and keep asking away its a scary time when your first home and all things are new inside.

k-i called my surgeon's office and his nurse told me i could "take anything otc"...hmmm...not at all what i expected to hear, but i followed the advice, grabbed some mom, and took the min adult dose.

hopefully they know what they're talking about, right?

Hey Kas....my surgeon was good enough to send me home with stool softener too which is good since I have gotten so sick of meat that I have increased my cheese intake and that has made things slow moving. I can't help but think of one of my fave comedian's Ron White when he talks about if you have ever had a bm that was so big that you lost weight...lol. I actually try to make sure that I don't eat cheese the days before weigh in days...lol. Hope that things get moving for you soon.
