Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Mississippii has lost its mind! I just recieved a email from the Obesity Coalition. They had a article I read and it made me so mad. They have a bill in legislation right now trying to get passed that in certian resturants they are not to serve obese people !!!! Why because they are obese ! It seems Mississippi is the state with the most amount of obese people. To me it seems the people running the place have obese heads meaning there full of somthing other than brains. Yes its discrimination to the fullest extent. Im appaled. It seems they would have set guidlines in place for people to follow. What I got from that is if the waitress thinks your fat......your told you cant eat. I dont however see this bill passing but it really makes me mad to think someone could have ever dreamed this one up! |

Some people think a size 12(nz) is fat. some think a 14 is fat and others think its over a size 18.... can you imagine going through all of this and going from 300lbs to 150lbs, going to a restaurant and being told that you are fat and cant eat there???? Weight Loss Method - | I read about this bill being in Congress...The Senator who proposed it said that he does not intend it to pass but it was just something to bring attention to just how obese this country is becoming. I think that it is absolutely disgusting and offensive. Who is to say who is considered obese or not? The bill also stated that if restaurants served obese people they would get fined. We are definately becoming superficial as a society

If they had put this bill forward targeting people of different races or gender the country would be rightly outraged. Why has it become even nominally acceptable to discriminate against obese people? Let's put our money into education and nutrition, not humiliation.
