Default Bruising easy

Has anyone ever reached a stage of bruising really easy. My hands, arms and legs look like I've been shackled and beaten. I notice the other day that I itched my hand and it bruised. My Bartiatric Nurse told me it probably wasn't anemia but could be platelets and referred me to my primary care physician, they are going to do blood work I hope. I'm really tired too, I may quit my second job, still grappling with that one. What are your thoughts??

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I remember reading about a vitamin deficiency that causes you to bruise easily. I can't remember which one it was though. I am sure the bloodwork will show anything that is out of line.

I agree with getting the blood test. I think it does have somthing to do with the vitamins.

I feel so disappointed in myself. I felt I was doing so well. I know malabsorbtion is an issue so I am getting on it right away. Maybe I'm taking the wrong iron. I am going to start getting B12 shots though.

I know all surgones offices are different but I had this problem of bruises popping up here and there and my surgones office had me add vitamin C twice a day. Seems to work for me?????

Brusing as a post op issue has sprung up here from time to time.
Yes, quite often, it seems not to be VB12/iron issue, but rather, other vitamins such as C and I think sometimes thiamin as well.
I any case, see what the blood labs turn up.
