Default Question About Carbs

As far as what I'm eating, my calories have been good (usually 500-700). My problem seems to be that my number of carbs in a days is way more than half the number of my protein grams.

My question is will this keep me from losing weight or will it cause me to stall?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I hadn't heard that they need to be 1/2 our protein intake...I thought I had read it should be 10-15% of our calorie intake....Doc?

So, if I have 700 calories today, 70 carbs would be alright?

Of your total calories, 45-60% from carbs, 20-25% from fat, and the rest from protein is the norm. Think of the lower end of that for you.

However, since you are still at the low intake stage, chuck up the 60g protein first, that's 240 kcals. If your intake is at 800, then you have 560 kcals left. Half from fat, half from carbs, or, keep fat less than half of the left over calories

I HAD QUOTED THIS FROM DOC A LONG TIME AGO.

i think the confusion is grams vs %. i did read somewhere ( of course i cannot remember where) the "pie chart" should be 50% protein, 25% carbs and 25% fat (which would make the carbs = to 1/2 the protein for the day ut this is percent not grams...or is it?? ). but now after reading all of this i am COMPLETELY confused and havent a clue. i hope doc will re-explain this one more time cuz i am L O S T lol!!!

Don't know either, but when I fill in everything in at Fitday.com my pie chart looks ok I guess, and it is usually like 30% for fat, 35-50% for carbs and the rest is protein, so don't know if that helps, love fitday it really helps out when it come to figuring things out.
