Unhappy I need help

Hi Everyone, Its been awhile since I've been on here. I thought I was doing well until I got home from vacation and saw I had gained 5 lbs. back which is ALOT!! I am so depressed and mad at myself. I feel I haven't lost as much as I should have and then to see this is really making me depressed and crazy. I went to Houston and had way to many BBQ's. I was at a wedding and was a very bad girl eating sweets, drinking etc. Now I feel so ashamed of my self and really feel so, soooo depressed. Should I go back to the broth basic diet at my stage or just eat healthy like I am suppose to be doing? Help Doc!! I've missed you all and hope someone will remember me and respond or I can make some new friends....LOL Bonnie

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi Bonfire,
I understand how you feel I think we all go thru this. Don't be so hard on yourself. Try not to focus so much on what you did wrong, remember that everyday is a NEW day. Instead focus on what you need to do to get back on track. Start eating healthy again and get back to the routine you had before going away on vacation. You will see in no time you will lose those 5 lbs and then some. Good luck!

Hi Bonnie, nice to see you around again, I was wondering how you were doing.
Congratulations on your weight loss so far.
Sorry to hear of your temporary bump, so, have you been able to lose even a pound or two, or just starting to get that set up?
In any case, just get back on track with your meals--eat healthy, and try not to give in to temptations--and get your exercise routine back into place, too.
Go back to the pouch rules, protein first and lots of water.
Join in and start posting in the daily What Did You Eat threads to help you keep accountable.
Stick around in this board even if you don't post much.

Learn from your mistakes, and you'll be able to make it to goal yet, though it may take longer than you hoped for.
((((((HUGS)))))

Hi! Finally someone else from Utah! I'm glad you came back. I was starting to think no one in Utah had this surgery but me. I'm sorry to hear that you hit a snag in your journey, but it is only five pounds and at least you recognize that you need to get back on track and back here to get support that you need to turn things back around.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out. I am sure everyone here wil be glad to give you all the encouragement you need to get away from the BBQs and sweets and back on the protein and water.

I really am glad to see you here. Keep in touch.

Hi Bonnie! I had the same problem when my hubby and I went on vacation, I was all excited that we would be doing so much and walking every day that I thought I would come home and have lost some. WRONG, same thing happened to me, apperently we tend to eat more and eat wrong when we vacation, it just happens. So I agree with Doc, get back into the routine, pouch rules, and yes posting what you eat on here everyday does help with sticking to it.
