Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Once I had lost my weight, I tried to find some jeans that were comfortable. Not much luck, due to higher waistband cut, which made them uncomfortable due to the looser skin on my abodmen. I didn't want to buy bigger sizes for waist comfort either. But then I remembered an Ebay project my wife did last summer. She got a bunch of Route 66 boot cut jeans, 3/4 rise, new with tags, in 16L, 18L, 20L and 22L. I tried on a pair if 18L, and guess what? They fit fine. The lower waist band is very comfortable. I'm not a "cross dresser" and I tried these jeans in desperation. But they look fine, and do not look femine in any way. You wouldn't know they were women's jeans, unless I told you. I'm 6'3" tall and weigh 204. The 18's are a little loose now, so I might be able to fit the 16L size too. BTW, these are stretch jeans, which makes them even more comfortable. These same jeans are listed on the sale and exchange link here too. ![]()

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I not a fashion expert, but I've never heard of 3/4 rise mens jean. Maybe they're out there, but I tried these 3/4 womens (more unisex in my mind) to see how they fit. Never had a pair of pants with the lower rise to them. Mens pants are normally up near the belly button as far as the waist band goes.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | my son (he's 18) has been wearing "GIRL" jeans for years now...he started it before it became a fad (yes...YOUNG KIDS ARE DOING IT AS A FAD)....I don't think it implies you are cross dressing AT ALL...I just think it means you found some jeans, you like the fit...and it works! |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Never claimed to be smart. I may be older, more experienced, logical and resourceful. I've always looked for things I want, and if not available, I can adapt what I find available. I call that resourceful, maybe smart?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Works for me. Comfort and presentable looks is what I wanted. I needed pants since my legs feel cold in the winter now, even though it's southern CA. The pant waistband is 3" or so below the naval, so any loose abdominal skin is not binding on the waist band. It's just a suggestion, take it or leave it.
