Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  Dr's Appointment It went well. Bloodwork is perfect. I was taken off asthma maintenance meds. I am being weaned off the lexapro. No more high blood pressure and no more norvasc. I am holding strong at 144 lbs which isnt bad. I do bounce but for the most part it comes back off. He says he expects a bounce back about 10 - 15 lbs as he has seen this average with most of his patients and then expects me to stabilize which is again, fine by me. All in all there were no arguments. He said I looked great and that he "stood corrected" because we argued SO MUCH about his goal of 180 lbs for me LOL!! I dont see him again for 6 months. I just feel so good. I havent felt this good in a long long time. I will be a year out next month. I kind of feel as if this "part" is conquered. I know there is maintenance which could make or break the whole experience but, I feel like so much is behind me now. i feel very positive about the rest of my journey...
