Default New Pain, Anyone else experience this??

Hi all--For the last 5-7 nights I woke up with terrible abdominal pains with low back pain. I think it's just being bound up, but I don't know for sure. I have terrible gas pains. I have been taking a stool softener every other day, but the pains are still there. As far as going to the bathroom, that isn't an issue. I don't see my surgeon until the end of May, but I am not sure if this issue truly warrants a call to him.

My weight loss has slowed to a snails pace, but I am very happy with it so far. My biggest concern (other than the pain) is that my husband says NOTHING to me about my new body. The only time he is aware of the amount of weight I have lost is if he hears someone ask me and I give the answer. Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for listening.

BTW, the first pic was minus 40, the second is minus 65.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I was having some issues last week, but I think it was related to bowel issues. It didn't wake me up, but I'm better now.
And by the way, you look fabulous!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments, I am still waiting to see some after pics!! I have decided to call my surgeon, my pain is bad enough that I want to vomit, but don't (this happened last weekend, too) I took tylenol 2 hours ago and has not yet done any good. I will keep you posted as to what my surgeon says.
Take care.

Yes, do call your surgeon ASAP. Whenever you are in pain serious enough to keep you awake, or continues for more than 24 hours, it's best to call your surgeon.

You're doing fabulously well, too, congratulations.
As for your DH not saying anything, there was a thread a week or so ago about the exact same issue. Take a look in the Families and Loved Ones forum.

I hope everything is OK...I had a pain like this a couple of months ago....took Miralax and went poop...and the pain went away....I attributed it to gas, but it got bad enough, I was about to have DDH take me to the ER. Keep us posted! (I thiought I had a kidney stone...and I know those cause TERRRIBLE pain!)

You look fantastic...I'm sorry hubby isn't saying anything...it just doesn't mean the same thing to them that it does to us....them being from another planet and all....you look great and I'm sure he's proud of you! I think they get very insecure with it all too!

Well, I finally got thru to my surgeon, the answering service never beeped him even after I called twice. I finally got thru to his office almost 2 hours after my initial phone call.
They have ordered STAT blood work and I am to see him this AM and I guess we will go from there.
I will keep you posted.

I Sure Hope All Is Well For You & That Your Pain Goes Away Soon....

As Far As Hubby Is Concerned, I Think That The People That See Us Everyday Tend To Not Notice The Weight Loss As Do The Others That See You Once In A While...

I'm Sure That Is The Case With Him....

You Do Look Wonderful & Are Doing Great With Your Weight Loss Thus Far!!
Keep Up The Great Work!!

P.s.
I'm In Schenectady, Ny Where Are You????
