Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  tom will be visiting on surgery day hello everyone i hate it so bad that tom will be on around the time i have my surgery it scares me cause i go thur so much bad cramps heavy bleeding i have to also stay in the bed for two days sometimes three low enery very low i never take medicine i just suffer with the pains i don't like taking medicine never have and my homones be so out of control i have to have sweets to keep me going cause of low enegry i can't eat anything but what i crave cause it makes me sick til i give in. last month was the best ever in 15 years i had no nothing it shocked me i'm wishing and praying i have one again this month cause i will been have had my surgery and i need the break. this all started after i had my second child wish is a son who is 15 now never have i had any of the things i mention before in my life until then i always say i wonder do people on crack feel like i do every month when i have to have my sweets i feel like i can kill not really kill you all know what i mean but i feel if i don't get it i will hurt someone i feel addicted it scares me so bad cause i can't control it i just wonder is this how drug addicts feel when they need a fix if so boy do i know what they are going thur cause i have for 15 years but think god this only happens during tom so i hope you all see why i'm kinda worried about tom visiting me on my surgery day or the day after please pray for me i have the strength to make it thur whle trying to recover from surgery god bless you all. sorry for the long post. ps. i'm still having my surgery so tom will not stand in my way no one will stop that

| Super Moderator  |  Awww (((((((HUGS))))))) Don't worry, plenty of people have had TOM start around surgery time. Just go with the flow, and if are in great discomfort, let the dr and nurses know. One thing, take the pain meds just this one time, you will be too weak to try to ride it out on your own.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Even though it is a big deal to us, it is noting to the hospital staff. Mine started 2 days before surgery. I only get mine like 4-5 times a year now and of course low and behold....... the staff said that it was pretty common with any surgery for woman. Thinking back it is kind of funny now. I rang for the nurse the next day saying I needed to go to the bathroom and she comes in and says "you have a cath in" I said yes but I need to change my pad. She got me out of bed (cath a all), put on a pair of gloves and had to fish for the darn thing. The nurses assistant actually went to my suitcase to get my bag of pads and put then right out on the counter and handed me one. Thankfully they decided to take out the cath and I was able to put some underpants on and a clean pad. So, plesae don't sweat it, it really is nothing to the staff. They see it ever day.
