So lately every morning I wake up and I have such a burning in my belly with almost lke acid reflux going on. I feel so bloated and yucky, as the day goes on it gets better but then by the evening its back. Anyone else have any of this? I am gonna call my surgeons when they open in an hour

I take my pepcid right away in the morning... def. get it checked, ulcers are not uncommon. I get a discomfort like that when I'm hungry, but I'm still new at this... yours sound more like something may be going on in there!! does a pepcid or something similar help???

i take prilosec every morning since surgery, was told to by my surgeon to keep acid down and it helps to prevent ulcers too! hope u feel better soon becka!

Yea honey you probally need a acid reducer for sure. I had trouble with it before surgery and still do after. I take Nexium and if i run out I have trouble within a days time.

ya know i had gerd before surgery am surprised they didnt keep me on my meds, i am hoping it helps, food is not going down well today....uggg bought my prilosec earlier damn is it expensive

I had to take actigall and prilosec for the first 6 months...do you smoke....? Surgeon told me some of his patients fight acid harder because of the smoking...and if it bothered me, to keep taking prilosec...I haven't had any problems with it.... Hope you feel better.....! |
