Default Evil Eggs

Hi all Easter is right around the corner and I can't help but to stare and wish I could have a Reeces peanut butter egg. I was just wondering if anyone else has candy problems around holiday's?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I LOVE those peanut butter eggs. I can eat a whole package but not very healthy. I have been good though, I have eaten only one the whole time they have been inthe store

My daughter bought me one, I cut it in 4 pieces and put it in the freezer so I keep my sugars low. I have one piece every other night.

Sorry but I cant help. I can honestly say I have not had any candy since my surgery and Im almost a year out. however, you gotta know that candy is not my downfall so that helps. I do know that others have tested the waters with candy. Some are ok with it and others dump. Take just a bite maybe. You may be surprised that it doesnt taste the same as it use to.

Candy, ice cream, cookies, cake ~ serious downfall foods for me so, no, not happening here -- I'm afraid what would happen if I could eat it!!!! Having said that, I dump sugar and the thought of getting sick or just plain miserable just isnt worth it to me. Good luck! (Oh, I did find a substitute for when I'm craving candy - I eat one or two of the caramel calcium chews )

the key is moderation!!! And if you crave and don't figure out a solution, you may wind up eating 27 other things trying to satisfy it! If you want it, have a bite....AND STOP THERE!!! Since surgery, I've had:

1) one small reeses peanut butter cup
2) one hershey's kiss (3 times)
3) couple of pieces of banana laffy taffy at halloween

Everything in moderation!!

I agree with Kath,moderation.. I found 60 cal. dark hersheys chocolate bites for just such an emergency. 6 carbs.,1g prot.,0 fat, 4g sug. in a .39 oz. piece. Try it just be careful.

I agree with moderation myself. I'm only 3 weeks out and an trying to find a sugar free candy I can have at Easter...how sad is that!!!! I just want a little bite! I believe in food creativity, not deprivation. When I was diabetic I could eat pizza, the diabetes center was amazed... I would have them roll the thinnest dough possible, very little sauce and loaded it with meat and veggies... I loved it. I plan on trying the same thing eventually in a persaonl pizza size, that way I feel that I am not depriving myself, and I can have things that my family is having. (I don't know if it will agree with me, but I'll try eventually!)

so for easter.... I'm going to be creative with what I can find. I totally understand how you feel.

Those evil little eggs. LOL. Its the stores fault. They place them so you make sure you see them and want them so bad. I read in the Drs office today women consume 14,300 more calories per year because of that.

I agree with Kathy. Im moderation. Its gonna make you dump.....or it wont. I dont have that problem but i have only eat one tiny piece of candy since surgery.

Good luck with your challange and decision.
