Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Dawn the same thing happened to me. I use to always sleep in and never get up early. Every since surgery last year I go to bed much earlier and sleep like a baby and Im wide awake very early. I too was up at 6am. When the weather is nice I go out and get a walk in every morning. I am eagerly awaiting spring here so I can get back out and walk but its very wierd. My family too at first was like, Mom what are you doing. Guess our bodies change.

I know for me it's already happening, I think Kenya is right, a more restful sleep, plus we just feel better, healthier.

One reason may be if you had sleep apnea. I had sleep apnea for 10 years prior to RNY. The sleep apnea stopped post RNY, and I also tend to get up earlier. I don't know if I'm sleeping better because of the 145 pound weight loss, not using the CPAP machine anymore or what. And yes, sometimes I do go to bed earlier than I did before. If I find myself getting the "munchies" around 10 PM, I normally go to bed, to prevent eating at that time of night.

Me too, me too! I thought it was weird too. I go to bed between 8-9pm and I'm wide awake by 3-4am (I have to get up at 5am for work). But I get solid sleep now, whereas before I was up constantly!

I am right there with you all. I was always one that would pull all-nighters often, but then on the weekends I felt as though I did nothing but sleep. Regardless, when I slept, I would wake up several times throughout the night and I knew I was not getting enough rest. When I had WLS, I made a pact with myself to change the things that I did that were unhealthy - including sleep. It was only about 3 - 4 weeks after that I started sleeping through the night. Now, I get a solid 5-7 hours of sleep nightly! I am well rested and function much better.
