I have started to exercise by walking walk about four blocks per day at lunch hour at work. I will be starting to work out at a gym next week for about 15 minutes three times a week. I would start this week but I have to be out of town for training on Thursday. What an excuses! At least it is a start.

I have been building a storage shed to help hold some of my car parts on my 53 Plymouth. Boy am I out of shape, what used to take me two to three days has been over two months on the week ends. The sad thing is I am just starting to put the roof on it. At the rate I am going it will be another month and a half before I am done with this. I am having withdrawal pains from not been able to work on my old cars.

April the 14 I start a 5 week weight management class. Besides the lab work that needs to be done the only other hurdle is the shrink and exercise, exercise and more exercise. I wished I would get a release of endorphins when I exercise. I think all of us who are overweight were short changed on this endorphin business.

I have been feeling really down lately as all I do is work and rest. Not much time for any thing else. I get kind of upset at myself for letting this weight get so out of control and have been short temptered at the family.

Ed.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Ed, This will happen. Before you know it you will be scheduling you surgery and then wondering what you can eat. The process is long due to some insurances but hang in there. You are doing what you can right now so don't bang your self up. Being anxious and depressed is something I think we all have a little of. Believe me I have done my share of complaining and crying. Maybe explain to your family you are anxious and I am so they will be supportive. They know you do not mean to yell at them.

The most important thing is you are taking the correct steps....you are walking and working on a project.

Hang in there......

Sorry you are down Ed, but at least you are headed in the right direction, so that's a positive thing right there. Every day, every step...is another day and another step closer. You can do it!
Hey, did you ever hear about 'Lead East'? It's here in Jersey, Parsippany to be exact, during labor day weekend. It's a 3 day car show, it's like a sock hop. The cars park and stay for the whole 3 days but the people bring tents and bars and dance floors. Groups like the Drifters come to perform. The cars take turns and prominade. The women dress in poodle skirts and the guys all look like James Dean. They show old movies on the side wall of the hotel each night (if you are a participant) and every one sits or brings out a chair. Eddie munster (what's his name) was there last year, and a woman from 'Rebel with out a cause' (I think), but it's a fun time. Look up 'Lead east'.. I'm just a smidge too young (43) but I do enjoy it, but my mother (61) man she loves, loves loves it. Can't get her to stop dancing or reminiscing or singing along with every song. Hope that made you smile!

(((((HUGS)))))
Patience is the key, and you are taking steps in the right direction as everyone says.
We have an old saying here that goes, "Even dust acculmilates into small mounds" meaning, it's the small things that add up to big things and pay off.
You're doing fine, and though it may take a year or two, you will be back up again, working on your old cars and be building stuff even better than before.

P.S. DeMarie, oooooh, that Lead East sounds like soooo much fun, made me remember my U.S. school days.
