| WLS Mentor  |  Hey Becca sounds like you had a good time except for that little doo with Cameron and the waves. Where did you go? We get waves at the cottage sometimes that are big for us but nowhere near the ones you encountered. On big wave days we usually put on a life jacket and go to the middle of the lake and just bob in the waves, it's so much fun. wonder if you can do that with the waves where you went. may be too big, don't know never tried it.

i love living only 20 min's away from our cottage. makes last min. trips easy and frequent. guess we just don't get the same waves here as there, they are fun to bob in. Roo and i are talking about getting a rent to own on a house and are hoping we can find one on the water, if not it will at least be in the country. won't be happening until spring/summer of 2007 though.

wow you had quite the adventurous day. . sorry it is taking me so long to catch up on everyones posts and adventures. I love going to the shore and hope that the next day my hubby has off it is really warm so we can go to Sea Girt. We have friends that go there with their kids a lot since it is free to military and I wanna check it out. Oh well... he won't have a day off for a long time if people keep dying like they have been. He has been pretty busy with funerals lately, but at least I got to spend the Fourth of July with him. I hope that your trip is fun when you get to sneak away without kids.
