Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  i'm home today hello everyone i'm finally home from the hospital boy oh boy what a 3 days 2 nights i'm in some pain the surgeon said everything went fast and he was in and out in no time i woke up in the waiting area in so much pain i was moaning so loud i kept saying i'm in pain it was rough for me i don't know why cause i have had 3 surgeries but this one was rough my left side wouldn't stop hurting the meds they gave didn't do much help just knocked me out kept me sleep but the nurse's were so sweet and kind well everyone was they spoiled me lol but i'm home and loving it they gave me some lortab liquid and some prevcil tabs that dissolve so i just took some lortab and the pain is a little less.they brought me so much food i mean broth tea jello and a bottle of water and a lemon-aid crystal light packet then the next day they give me pudding a can of cib drink and tea and crystal light and yogurt i couldn't eat all of that so i brought it all home i barly ate anything i just drank my crystal light and thats. all so thx for your prayers i'am on the loser bench lol yesssssssssssssssss.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Good to see you are doing great! The pain would of been caused by the Gas that they put into your tummy area. It hurts like hell, and may take upto a week to be gone, you might find that you are passing wind alot and have shoulder/chest/back pain like a dull ache for a while, that is the referred pain from the gas. (not including your site pain). My site pain is almost all gone now. Just some niggling left side issues when I strain too much, or if my tum gets knocked. Congrats on being on the losing side! Something which I have found though, water intake is more important than food intake at the moment. DONT let yourself get dehydrated! Well done!

Yes, the pain was a bugger for me right out of surgery and for the first week (I am one of the ones who did use up all my pain meds!) But it does get better and it's nothing that you can't get through, just keep sipping and walking, the walking does make you heal faster. I made sure I got up and walked every hour, 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, then 15...it took time but I was moving. Good luck and...Congratulations!
