| Hey, I guess this WALKING helps!!!!!
Hello all. I hope you are all having an amazing day. I have been making a real effort to get out everyday and walk. Sometimes I do 4 miles, sometimes 2-3, but I have been walking everyday.
Additionally, to avoid a teenager who ran out in front of me, I swerved and hit the curb. The result is 2 flat tires and 2 broken rims. So, I have also been walking to the stores, and Kerri and I walked 1.6 miles each way to see a movie shown at Church last night.
And.......................the scale has been moving again..........oh yes...........5 lbs. I LOVE it when I see results.
Have a great evening all. S

Good going Shh....I am really glad that you saw the scale move again. Have you ever done Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds Express before? I did that fairly religiously for awhile after I gave birth to my daughter and had some success with it until I kept injuring my knee or something else and would slack on it. I would reccommend the dvds to anyone that is looking for a good workout that is low stress on your joints indoors.

OMG Janae i have some of the walking away the pounds series on DVD and love them. I did them while on atkins .....!! JUST hard at my house to

I normally love swimming, even fat i was in the water alot as a obesite women. BUT now i guess without my insulation im always cold and i cant
get in the water. THIS is disappointing to me cause i wanted swimming

Way to go Shhh, you are an inspiration. I used to walk allll the time, and need to work up to that again.
I too have A Sansone tape., truly forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder Janae, I will have to dig that out...
I need to check out the Arobics center not far from me in thier swimming programs...I get cold too, but it is so hot down there. Very humid in the pool house..Might work.
I need some good ideas..and some incentive...geeeee thanks.

Hey pals. Thanks for the kind words.
I do have the L. Sansone WATP. I like them, but I just got away from them. I should do them when I first get up.
Some of the women used to bring them to work and put them in the DVD in the computer and do them at lunchtime. I would watch..........LOL.
I just got back from my walk tonight..........it is getting too hot and muggy, but I did it anyway.
Have a good night all. S

that is so funny that you mentioned how you would watch cuz when I did them Michelle and I still lived by each other and when I told her about them she would always laugh at me and say that she would pop the popcorn and come watch me do it. Hey Lisa I never really thought about the fact that my losing my fat is makeing the water colder. It makes sense now though. I gave up doing them at home because my son would always want to do them with me and I hate tripping over well intentioned youngsters causing injury when I am trying to workout. Now my apartment is so tiny...it would not work well here. I love the gym for working out because it is my time and my kids can't interrupt...Akima can't show up at my door...the phone doesn't ring...I get a lot more accomplished this way.

I fully agree, I'm doing the same and guess what my body is melting away.
and what makes it even more exciting when you reduce the car use and walk instead is that you lose weight unintentionally ehhehehe which is our obsession. I dunno if this is happenning with everyone we spoiled our body for a long while and it's mentally hard to put the body in the work out mode!! everytime I attempt to move my ( | ) and workout I have thoughts like no my body is tired or hmm maybe tomorrow or you know I will skip the dinner instead, the weirdest thing is that we don't have these mind thoughts when we attempt to eat crap we eat blindly hehehehe.
Anyhow I found this great article about how to boost up your walking plan. I loved it and I hope you girls will like it too
Thanks for your inspiration, Love you a lot

You sure said a mouth fully Chuppy! Sometimes I think I'm programmed to do what is bad for me!!! Walking feels great now, but I still have to sometimes kick myself out the door to do it. I'm always glad that I walked, afterwards, though.
