| Big Loser | I know lots of people love sugar free candy, but looks like I can't do it. !/3 the calories as regular so I can eat 3x as much right? I bought some sour neon gummy worms "for the kids". Then at home I noticed that ten of them were only 130 calories. So I ate the whole bag over 2 days and made myself sick. Some things I just gotta keep my mitts off of. I had some beef stroganoff mix in the pantry. Not a healthy choice in itself, that's for sure. But I made it with 97% lean ground beef (kinda tough), onion, okra, carrots, celery and added some f/f sour cream to make it even more sour and add protein. So it turned out not to be as bad as it could have been. I tell ya, with the kids being gone these 2 weeks, I don't know how single people do it. It's just not worth it to cook for one most of the time. I made that vege marinara with 1 each of onion, carrot, zuchinni, crookneck, patty pan, and celery and it exploded. I had to eat that stuff for three days, and I still have some left I put in the freezer. Then again, must be nice to be in absolute control of what one eats without considering others. I was surprised to see that I went for a lot of fruits; they're so good and cheap this time of year. I also ate lots of squash, tomatoes, feta, kalamata olives, greens, and a big roast, half of which went to the dog because I couldn't even look at it anymore. They all come back tomorrow. One more night of freedom. Sorry to say, I've been having so much fun, I've rarely missed them. Kinda offended, though, when my son called this morning and I asked if he missed home and he said not really! Vicki |

| I have notice alot of the things that are sugar free are alot higher in sugar than you think. The sugar alchohols are the biggest culprits. I did find a mint that I like to have at work. it is good now and then when I talk to so many people. I am afraid to try much else..in tiny amounts it might be Ok, but right now i am not too sure it is worth it. Might trigger some things I di not want to trigger. Vicki my kids are grown and gone and we still find it hard to make certain things for the two of us. (hehehe) old habits. I know what it is like to have leftovers and be creative in using them to not waste it. Something just don't work....LOL Take care and enjoy your family being home. ROBBIN ![]()

Height: | I have a really hard time with throwing away food and wasting it. I think that is one of the major hurdles with me and this surgery. I need to see a shrink to break that whole waste not want not record that plays in my head. I get so sick of foods by the time I am done eating it. There really needs to be a cheaper smaller portioned way to do this. I just don't like leftovers all that much. I used to love them, but they don't agree with me anymore. It is too bad we don't all live close to each other and can't just take turns cooking one thing for all of us to share...lol. I am going to try to get my butt out of the chair and from in front of the computer to go to the gym....here is hoping... Janae |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | JANAE..... that was a phase my husband experienced hard. BEING he usually cooks the dinners here because my work ends late.....was preparing so much food that "MOST" got wasted. HE hated preparing stews int he winter and more going to the garbage then we ate...i dont do leftovers well so was no sense saving things. HE is better with it now and accepts my way of eating but man did he take time to adjust! glad to hear your heading out to the gym now!

Height: | Yeah, going to the gym is my one salvation lately. It seems like the more I go the more I realize that when I don't go my day doesn't go as well. It amazes me how much it affects my mood. It really does stink how something will go down just fine one day and give you problems the next. Janae |

Height: | Oh...I almost forgot to check my numbers...how funny. Thanks for noticing...too cool. Yeah, I am bummed right now cuz it looks like the gym will have to wait since I boo boo'd my knee pretty bad Saturday night and it isn't scabbing over very good. I guess it didn't help that I went ahead and got it wet yesterday in the pool, but it was too hot to stay dry on the sidelines while my kids played with my husband in it. Today I will probably stay dry and inside with the air conditioner for the most part to give it rest. That and I think I am fighting a cold cuz not much is staying down due to mucus. Thanks for the huggsss....right back at ya babe. Janae |
