It is like a cotton-pickin birthday! I have learned many lessons in the last six months, but the one I am most thankful for is that life can be celebrated. Not just by sitting and blowing my horn while others are dancing, singing, and enjoying each other; but really actively participating in the celebration. We have all proven that it takes strength to admit we have some shortcomings in life and then do something to overcome. That's right, we are OVERCOMERS! In my opinion, that is the most important character trait (aside from integrity) that any person can possess. Congrats to all of you! When you are out and about your day today and you find yourself feeling any type of emotion other than complete content, just remember that you are an OVERCOMER and able to acheive anything you wish!  |
