In the shower today I had a handful of hair....then combing my hair I got 2 more. Looooovely! I keep saying to myself I have way too much hair anyway, so it won't be a problem...but the reality of 3 handfuls of hair was still pretty shocking!

I went to get my hair cut yesterday, about 4" off, because it was so thin already and was now getting down right straggly. The lady actually said she was afraid to brush my hair because so much was coming out! They say it slows down, but mine hasn't yet. The good news is with my hair being a little shorter it doesn't look as bad. Do you take biotin? I do, in hopes that it will come back eventually! So trust me, you're not alone!!!!

| A small word about hair loss. I had thyroid problems most of my life and spent most of my life with my hair falling out in clumps. After they took out my thyroid and It took almost two years to get my TSH numbers in order again for me that is under 1.0. I lost my hair in clumps more then ever for those two years. So one thing you need to remember when you empty the brush and feel like crying is that your hair will grow back. It takes a while but it does. Take it from someone who lost a lot of hair over the years and finally can brush without crying but I guess that will happen again but I know it wont be forever...
