Girl Trust Me You Will Cchange Your Mind. If You Went Thru As Much As I Went Thru And I Can Still Say I Would Do It Again. I Was In The Hosp For 10 Days With A Leak And AN ABSESS And Then 8 Wks Later Had A Stricture And On The Third Dialation I Was Ruptured Open And Ended Up In The Hospital Again.
Trust Me You Will Be Fine And You Will Def Change Your Mind On How Your Feeling Now
Just Relax Hun

I remember telling my husband "what the heck have I done to myself???" That thought fades fast. As soon as the weight starts falling off and you adjust to being stasfied with the "new" way of eating you will be so pleased!! I must say that I have not had any complications as of yet so my experience was not as bad. My biggest regret was due to the emotional attachment with food. I literally thought that I would be miserable for the rest of my life because I could no longer stuff my face!! That has passed....thank god! Things will get better and easier!!

Yeah I slept on the couch for 2 weeks in a semi sitting position, propped up by pillows. You definately have buyers remorse in the beginning, but it does get better and you will totaly change your mind. Hang in there and remember sip sip sip and use a baby spoon to eat if you need to, I still use one when I eat so I dont take too big a bite. To sip try using a medicine cup from a cough syrup bottle, that helps so much too

Honey do exactly as they asked you to do and you should be ok. Its tough at first. Surgery is hard no matter what type you had. Did they do the laproscopic or did they have to open you up? If your drinking with a straw stop it. It will cause you to get bubbles in your tummy and cause even more gas. You need some quiet time to yourself and be comfortable. It helps alot. Let us know if you need us ok?

I'm sorry you've had sucha tough time of it. I hope things will get better soon, but your attitude will defitely change about doing it at all. Once you see yourself melting away and all the marks and pain is long gone, you will be like Boots.
