I have noticed there are a bunch of people that used to post when I first joined....and I never see them around much anymore! I am assuming I caught the tail end of that wave.....and most of the people who post now are on another wave.....it's like a group comes through, finds the boards around the time they have surgery....go through part of the journey together, then move on..... I am hoping to stay around here a long time....to help furture waves!! |

It is important to remember that we came here early out for support, got the support .....so now its time to return the support. I know many people take things way to serious and get offended to easy. We are all here to support each other and although we dont always agree on issues that is ok....Different points of view are best. I am very happy here....i think this board was put together with just the right mix of everything. Supportive, spiritual and sometimes nutty but thats a great mix.. THose that are still here thank you.

| Super Moderator  | It is just like a home. Children grow up, leave, but come back when they need to, bringing their new family and friends with them. The core doesn't change. There's a stage when you need lots of support, then life starts catching up with you. Whether you come back to share is up to you. The most important thing is, there will always be someone here to give you a hug when you need one.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I plan on being here for a very long time, becasue I need the support to keep me on track and I need to see the before and afters and that just amzes me and I never ever want to look like I did and be so unhealthy like I was and I get so many ideas here and just talking with people here helps me so much. I know I will be off track sometimes but when I come here it sure puts me back on track. I have been so heavy most of my life and I am so tired of being so heavy and cannot hardly do anything. This place has gotten me threw some rough times and I just love this place, it is second home for me. My husband knows when I am on here not to bother me becasue I get so involved when I am on here and he knows I need this place to keep me on track and he also get the details from me when I see the progress and the ups and downs of people. I call him to the computor when there are pictures that people post and he is also amazed by the before and after pictures. So he is invoved in this site to and when the posts come up on my e-mail, he sometimes reads them and when something interests him he will call me to the computor to read some of the posts that come on my e-mail. Sometimes he will stand beside me when I am reading some of the posts that interest him he will read them with me standing beside me. So he knows how important this site is to me and all the wonderful people on here. He is starting to recoznize some of the people on here when I am reading post becasue he can see the pictures on the side of the posts. The latest exciting news that I am so excited about is Edie's baby. I am excited in following her pregnancy. My niece let me follow her pregnancy when she was pregnant two years ago. She took pictures of her tummy at different times and all the baby stuff they bought for the new arrival of my grandniece. Now her and her husband put pictures on a photo site that I can get into. I can watch her grow up. They usually put new pictures of her and them about every week. I cannot wait till the new pictures come on her site. It would be nice if we could here how some of the other are doing yet. I am excited for the newbies to follow their journey and if I can help them out with their journey. I cannot help anyone out with being depressed becasue I have no idea what it means to be depressed. All I can do is just say some nice words of reassuring them that things will get better. Becasue this journey was always going upwards, all the way threw, except for my little stalls I get once in a while and they are hard to wait for but it sure shows in inches and need lots of patience and I am a person with very little patience, I need things to keep on moving. I so not hing I was depressed over me being overweight I was just so tired of being overweight and not being able to do many things but as a person I was happy but hurt inside because of my weight.
