Default Hair Question....

Ok...I am fast approaching my 50 lb point and I know that is when most started losing hair. Did anyone notice that their scalp felt tingly? Or am I just super paranoid that I will soon be losing hair by the hand fulls?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

No honey mine didnt. Its probally the thoughts of it. I could be wrong. Remember we shed twice a year anyways. Yes you do lose some hair but its not as bad as you think it will be. Me having really thin hair to begin with noticed the losing of it but it wasnt nearly as bad as I dreamed it would be. My stylist said she noticed a bit but it wasnt enough to notice to look at it unless you was looking for it. So relax and go with it honey.

It is probably my imagination!! I am really nervous about it. I am like only 8 more pounds until my hair starts falling out. My DH said "well don't work out tonight...maybe you can keep it an extra day" LOL!!! I worked out anyway!!!

Mine didn't tingle either and I'm losing like crazy right now. Maybe you're just extra paranoid - kinda like when someone even mentions a spider you feel one on you kinda thing!

Hello Shannon, Don't worry about the hair thing. I have lost hair like everyone else and yes it does come back. I worked in a salon for over 10 years and this is all normal. I saw many, many women (and men) come in after having this surgery and they were all freaked out about it. It will return, and sometimes might even be better than before. I suggest not washing it too much and wearing it a little shorter does help it appear more fuller sometimes. Good luck sweetie, you'll be fine!!! Bonnie

It does really slow down after a few months. All of my new growth that is coming in now is thicker and really wavy...very new for me as I have always had thin straight as a board hair. Biotin is my best friend! I take a supplement and use Biotin shampoo and conditioner 3 times a week.
