 |  GOING FOR an Upper Endoscopy in the am
HEY buddies...
just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow i am going in for a
upper endoscopy done by my bariatric surgeon.
I had a bout of some foul colored vomit  today that was a bit
alarming so of course my surgeon has me going in to get things
checked out tomorrow. I will keep you all updated with my diagnosis.
DocSANAE has been great as she always is to all of us when this
all started happening today!
DOCSANAE and my surgeon are both leaning towards an ulcer right.
SO I will let you guys know when i know!

I am praying too that all goes well, but, unfortunately, the episode Lisa had is quite the typical symptoms of ulcer. But, there are some excellent medication these days, so I am sure you'll be doing fine, and be on your way to better health in no time at all. You might find you'll lose a few more pounds with this, too. Not nice how it came about, but an added bonus for you, maybe?

Well doc, that I would love to see being i have
been at a weight stand still for well over a month
and having my first plataue ever.

oh friend
that's awful that you had such an episode. i really do hope they find the problem right away. good luck this morning with your endoscopy, and we will be awaiting to hear from you with abated breath. get back to us soon, but more importantly get better soon.

Everyone I just got off the phone with Lisa. She is out of her endoscopy and they found an ulcer that was bleeding yesterday but he said it looks like it is starting to heal on its own. The dr told her it was a small one and he put her on Nexium for the next 8 weeks. He said that should take care of it.
She would like to thank you all for your concern.

I am relieved to hear that it was only a small one, and the bleeding's already stopped.
Lisa, you drive yourself too hard, remember to take some time out for yourself, and pamaper yourself, too.
Take it easy on your pouch for a while, remember to chew well and eat slowly!!
