5' 6" Height: | Hi eveyone. I've been keeping track of my food on Fit Day since the 2nd week out. During the first 6 weeks I took in about 600+ calories per day. For the last 2 weeks, I have been clinging to 700+ with a few 800 calorie days. I am now 9 weeks out. I feel like I'm eating too much for the number of weeks that I'm out. Some days I am quite hungry. I read people who post that can still eat very little at 6 and 8 mos. My surgon told me not to worry about calories so close to post but I log on activities and like to do my food as well. Solid protein fills me up the best. I write down every bite of food I take. At my weight, according to Fit Day I'm burning 3000 cals. a day. I feel like I'm not loosing weight and clothes are not getting looser in the last 2 weeks. Did anyone else have this happen to them at this stage of the game? I'm terrified that my pouch is stretching or the opening is getting big. I know it's not supposed to be able to happen but that's all I can think. I have not barffed once, have no idea what the foamies are. I've had a rough time with shrimp a couple of times but that is about it for food problems. Sorry to ramble on. Just a little scared. I feel like I'm falling behind and want to be "normal" (for once in my life). Thanks for listening, Kat |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Awwwwww shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh come here my little kitty Kat come give me a hug ![]() It has been a rough night for many people over here as I can see hehehhehe Don't worry sweetheart, I was in the same stinky ugly shoes when I was +2 month post-op I wsas doing everything right but I plateaued for maybe 2 weeks and then I dropped maybe one pound. Our body system is not stupid when you dropp your food intake the body goes into the starvation mode and hords the fat cells from breaking down and releasing the energy out! I've noticed that it happens for a week when I reduce the fat, increase the protiens, cut the carbs my body goes in that stupid mode. My advice for you is to keep going forget the scale at that time make more physical activities and drink and drink lots of water!!!!!!!!! maybe it will take one week or 2, then you'll get surprized!!!! hehehehe try to relaxe and don't count every calorie and every bite and every move, baby calm down you're doing everything right!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know that right now my body is in that phase for the past 2 weeks, but my first insident tought me to forget it and relaxe, it will happen eventually don't worry. Love ya Hanadi

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | ITS gonna happen thru your journey that the scale stands still and you worry. BUT your looseing inches right now i promise you that. I never counted calories. I am always hungry. I eat alot and have since early out..... I count my protein, keep my sugars and carbs very lo.... I wouldn worry on the calories sometimes to lo calories make your body go into starvation mode. JUST follow your pouch rules and you will be fine. EVERYONE looses differently so dont compare to others and all will be fine. HUGsssssssss its normal to feel this way and worry lisa

| Super Moderator | ((((((((HUGS)))))))) Kat. A simple arithmetic. So, you are using 3000 and taking in only 800-900. That means, you are getting that 2200 or so calories from the fat stored in your body. Don't worry that it's not showing up any at the moment. Just that you use 2200 out of your "pocket", that doesn't mean that the loss is going to show up immediately, it's going to take days and weeks. Relax, don't obsess with your scale, there is no way your weight does not go down with this kind of losing. It just takes time, so you'll see the difference eventually. Your body is healing->adjusting->healing->adjusting->healing->adjusting->....Give it time. ((((((((HUGS)))))) again.

| WLS Master Guru | Hey Kat my pal. You are doing so wonderful. Sometimes we stress over not losing............and you will just end up driving yourself crazy.........LOL. My weight loss seems to go in fits and starts. The scale stays on the same number for 2, 3, maybe even 4 weeks, and then all of a sudden bam.........starts to move again, and 5-7 pounds drop seemingly overnight. You are certainly not eating too much. Talk to you soon. S |

Height: | Kat you are very normal in your fears...but I agree wholeheartedly with Hanadi and Lisa..... do your best not to stress or obsess... that will only cause you to sabotage. Try to relax as much as possible and let it happen. It will happen sweetie I promise. I have had my fair share of slumps along the way too. Janae |

Height: | Kat if it helps any....I only lost 1 lb this last week....so it wasn't a big loss this week for me...but time has proven to me that it will still work in the long run. Keep up the hard work and just wait for your rewards to pour in. Janae |
