Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You are doing great from looking at your stats. Did you lose all that post op or did you lose some pre-op? You just had surgery a couple of weeks ago and have lost 36lbs!!! Sometimes that happens and it can be from your time of the month or water retention. I have just told myself that based on what I eat and my daily exercise that it is not really possible to gain a pound or 2 in one day which happens to me a lot. When that happens....in the next few days it comes off plus some!! I know it is so frusterating. I just got off the phone with my husband because I am frusterated about stalling for the past week or more. I work my butt of and feel like I hardly eat compared to the old me and I have lost nothing in days. I was actually up 1 pound today!!! I just tell myself....it will come off. I know I am doing the best I can and have changed so much in my life post op that it is impossible to see anything but good results in the future. Keep your head up and your thoughts positive!!

Good luck and you are doing great!!

hang in there sometimes we can have as females a gain like that
even during our honeymoon of looseing.
FOR me it was monthly for that darn TOM thing!
hang in there and you will be a success.
control yohur carbs, keep sodium in control and think
protein protein protein and get that water
down
good luck

My first thought was along the same lines as Lisa/fr1endly2.
When's your next Aunt Flo due? Even if you don't think it's time for it, keep in mind the rapid losing is throwing your hormones a huge curve, making everything go wacky. So, you could very well be PMSing. Both your emotional state, and your gaining can very well be from that. Since you say the more you drink, the more you gain, it sounds like you are retaining water the same as with PMS. Also, make sure your sodium intake is not high, as that will make you retain water, too.

((((((HUGS)))))) As I always say, the weight loss will not happen in one fell swoop, you will hit humps and bumps. Hang in there, you are doing well, and you will be able to really see it in 3-4 months. This is the toughest time, actually, during your post op journey. You are not yet a month out, and your insides are still healing, and working to adjust and realign all its functions. This takes 3-4 months. Even if your outside incisions are healed, your inside still has a ways to go. Within a month out is when your body works hard at healing first, not losing. Give your body time to heal so the weight loss can pick up smoothly.

Remember, NO surgery can be truly determinend whether it was a success or not, within one month of when it's done. Weight loss surgery especially, is a long term event, and long term investment. You can't evaluate nor predict by how it is the first few weeks.
If you ar sticking to your surgeon's program, the results will follow at your body's time schedule, not your thought's time schedule.

((((((HUGS))))) Trust in your surgeon, and trust yourself, you will do very well.

You will have times when that will happen. I have had it happen to me and I dont even have a menstral cycle anymore.....lol Doc and Lisa is correct you could be retaining fluid. I totally understand how you are feeling because the first time it happened to me I was totally upset but in the next week or so it came right back off. Keep your chin up. You just had your surgery and you are going to come across the crossroads. If you feel you can't talk to anyone else come back here. Talk to us so you can get it out in the open. Hope things get better soon for ya.

The same thing happened to me. One my forth month I gain 8 lbs & felt so bloated. I became so depressed and I couldn't understand why. I had not been overeating in fact I was eating the same as always. I couldn't fathom why I had gained, I became mad, depressed & afraid that the surgery had not worked for me. Everyone here advised to that it could have something to due with my TOM so I waited and once I had my Aunt Flo and it was all gone it took along with it the bloatedness, 8 lbs and an extra 2 lbs with it.
Now I know that every month around my TOM I can experience bloating, weigh gain or stalling so I just wait it out. For me, it's best to weigh myself after Aunt Flo has left. Hope this encourages you to just take a deep breath, relax and wait it out. You will be fine, believe us we all go thru this. Remember you are not alone you can always vent here!!
Take care hun.
