Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass     |  What a god send..... I will have to admit for the first time in my life i am thankful for a stomach virus. Seems that the initial vomitting was due to a stomach virus being last night my 9 year old son...was nasaus and not well. ALL day I knew he didnt look right from when i picked him up and my friends daycare after my scope... and finally at bed time he told me he was very nasuas and wanted to throw up. SO now i can say that i had a virus and i guess that caused the ulcer to bleed which is why i had to be scoped and now know i have an ucler which can be treated with meds. SO i thank my lucky stars for the virus otherwise i may have not known of the ulcer! THINGS do happen for a reason. JUST wanted to share that lisa xoxo

| WLS Mentor  |   Friend, i am so glad to know that the  was a cold virus, and not something too serious. although an ulcer is bad the fact that it can be treated with meds is good. yes things do happen for a reason, sometimes it isn't apparent right away, but i do believe this. glad your ok

| WLS Master Guru | Hey Lisa. I was going to say to you yesterday maybe a stomach virus, but never got around to it. Glad it happened if only to find the ulcer. This made me think of a line from The Devil Wears Prada, when the girls were talking about going to Paris for a Fashion Week: "I am one good stomach flu away from my dream weight." That made me laugh because I know I always liked to see what the scale showed after a stomach virus...........LOL. S
