i am on round 3 of hair loss. i am guessing this round is due in part to me not eating i cant really help it though. i STILL dont get hungry and STILL feel uncomfortable eating and often times forget because it isnt on my mind 24/7. i feel like a freak...again. we had lunch provided by a sales rep at the office and i didnt want to eat in front of anyone. they all watched too. i guess they wanted to see how someone who'd actually had "the surgery" eats...ugh! they dont ask me questions they just stare a lot now. i think that bothers me more than the questions... i started taking my lexapro again and the "shocks" have stopped instantly however i fear i may need to see my dr about upping the dosage. i dont feel "good" like i use to when i was taking it full force before. maybe i just need time for it to build up to a certain level in my system? who knows...i'm ready to give up on all of this all over again. i just want to be normal but then again what is that again, whoever said this was the easy way out was LYING! lol! somebody stole my shovel! |

I totally agree with you!!! There is nothing easy about having this surgery. I'm six months out and I snack all day, I don't really eat, and that's only because I'm home and not working right now. When I go back to work I know I will forget to eat because I am never hungry. I eat because I know I have to and I'm trying to get that stupid protein into my system. I think with the Lexapro, it does take up to two weeks for it to really kick in. You look amazing though! Just hang in there. |

I'll loan you my shovel hun....we'll dig as a team!!! Dang on the hair loss...mine has pretty much slowed down again...but it's still coming out..in the shower mostly. I just keep cutting it shorter....something about there being less to lose makes me think I'll win the game LOL I know the anti-d's take a while to build back up in your system. Give it time and see how it goes....you look fantastic....keep your eye on the prizes....you have so many in front of you right now! |

Lexapro acutally seems to work faster than other anti depressent meds. Or it does for me. Give it 2 more days then call the physican if you think you need it uped. You should know by then. I think you posted before that you had a good reaction to it right away when you started taking it. As for the sales reps lunches honey that is a part of working in a medical office. You will have them all the time. You might have to acutally call one watching you out one day while your eating and say (please dont watch me eat.) I dont think that would be rude acutally since they all know to begin with. As for your hair I dont know what to say...... It looks great from the pics you show us. BTW i have your shovel and I will give it back soon. |
