Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Depression is an byproduct of surgery for many people. Your diet is completely changed, quantities of food are greatly reduced, doctor visits, lab work, possible relatioinship problems, etc. All of these and more are reasons to get depressed. That may be the reason for your "funk". If you're alread on antidepressants, you may need a change of meds. Anyway, glad you're in an upbeat mood today.

Yes, talk it over at your next drs appt. That may give you an objective perspective.
Also take note whether your funk is related to PMS. For women, that can be a culprit, too.
In any case, exercise in itself can give your spirits a lift.
(((((HUGS)))) Keep on a chuggin'!!

I'm glad you're feeling great again! I was down for only 2 days and it stinks. It's so nice to feel so good! Dave is right though. They told me to stay on my wellbutrin post-op because of the risk for depression. I guess so far so good. My funk was PMS.

Dawn~ I'm so glad you're feeling so much better.

I was really in a "funk" lately too. Becoming forgetful, not being able to concentrate, eating whatever (I'm still presurgery) and was so concerned, my dh thought I was going through menopause, if you read my other thread..LOL Well, I've snapped out of it in the last few days and I've determined it's the weather. You have the same weather we have a day or 2 ahead of us and I know this constant cold and winter weather was making me "blue". Now that it's sunny and basically, summer weather .. got up to 82 yesterday, I feel like the old me. Full of energy.

Keep Monitoring Yourself And Try To Pay Attention To When You Get In That Funk To Know If Its Pms Or Not. Many Years Ago I Used To Take Anti-depressants And Took Them For Quite A Few Years. Im A Firm Believer In Them. They Help Balance The Inbalance We Have In Our Brains That Cause This Depression, Aniexty, Etc. Just Like Anyone Else Who Has A Handicap With Diabetes, Heart Disease, Etc.

Good Luck Hun
