Default This is really going to happen for me!!

Hi, everyone! I've been away for awhile ... combination of hectic life and discouragement over being denied 3 times ... thinking this would never happen for me. But ... finally it's a GO and I go for my pre-op tests tomorrow and surgery is scheduled for a week from Tuesday! I'm so excited and trying hard not to be nervous. It took forever to get to this point but when things broke loose it just happened all at once. I was just approved and scheduled last week .. it caught me by such surprise that now I don't feel like I'm really ready and I find myself thinking, "Whoa there, Nelly! Let me get used to the idea first!" I've been reading about all these other people who have to wait for months to get scheduled .. I only got 10 days! My head is still spinning. Now I'm scrambling to figure out what I need for when I come home, what I can eat, etc. The only thing I've done so far is try out a couple of protein powder stuff and, yuck! Can't keep THAT down on a good day!! Oh dear!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

OMG TREASURED how cool is all this!
WHAT an exiciting time!!!!!
We are here for all your questions.

DONT forget to shop for the chapstick to bring
to the hospitol and pack your slippers for all those
walks around the nurses station.

I think you should try to find a protein shake
you like...I know its difficult but you will need them.

HOW soon depends on your surgeons food protocal they
are all different!
GOOD LUCK!

Oh Wow Treasured. I am so excited to have you back on with us and that you have such amazing news to share with us off the bat. We have missed you and look forward to hearing all about your recovery and as you meet goals. Best of luck in finding a protein shake that you like. For me the only two I have been able to choke down so far are the premade Slim Fast low sugar and the EAS Advant Edge shakes that I doctor with frozen fruit. Good luck.
