Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Off Work Now! Yippee! Random Rantings. Today was my last day of work. YAY! Last night I went to the WLS support group in the "next valley" over. When I was checking out, I inadvertently left my phone behind.  I called my provider and put a hold on the number. Of course when I got a hold of the people who collect what security and housekeeping leaves behind, today, they said my phone wasn't there. I am sure someone's brother has already sold it elsewhere. So now my pretty pink bluetooth headset waits for me to afford another bluetooth-accessible phone. I will use my old phone. Verizon was very nice in helping me load saved data in the phone. (Funny...the young guy on the phone laughed at me when I complained, "Oh, Snap!" he went, "Did you say oh, snap???" "Yeah, what about it? Old ladies can't use oh, snap?" He laughed again) Last weekend I ordered a bathrobe from Lane Bryant catalog, as there were NO bathrobes in the store here. (My LB store does not have a large Cacique section) I checked the status today and THEY HAD NOT EVEN SHIPPED YET, AFTER 5 FULL DAYS!!! I emailed LB catalog and told them to cancel the robe order, or I will return it. Dopes! I will try to find a housedress/duster/short seersucker type robe at WalMart when I go there tomorrow. sigh. I refuse to walk the halls of that hospital in 1)one of their gowns or 2) one of MY gowns without proper coverage. At least my nice dearfoam men's slippers came in! But, enough of my whining over mobile communications and hospital attire ...TOMORROW I START MY CLEAR LIQUIDS! WHOO HOO! Tuesday will be here in NO TIME! LET'S DO THIS THING, MAN!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Good luck next week. I found a nice seersucker nightgown and matching duster robe at JCpenney in a 3X. I bought it for the hospital but truth be told I never wore it there. 1) I had no desire to try to change my gown and try to put something over my head (too much energy needed) 2) I was so out of it at the beginning that I didn't really care what I was wearing, I just wanted to sleep. 3)It was my TOM and I didn't want to risk staining it. I do wear it now all of the time and I love that it is quite big on me!!!! The gown the hospital provided me was plenty big enough so that I was well covered for my walks around the nursing station. As a sidenote, the wheelchairs were also extra wide which I thought was very considerate of their obese patients! The next few days will go by in a flash!

Ya know what I did at the hospital? I used their gowns, I wore one the reg way tied in the back then put another one on back wards where they tie in the front, worked rather well. |
