I was apart of a WLS Group in Honolulu, HI (where Im originally from) and there were so many supportive people to chit chat with and exercise with...so I am kinda lonely here in Great Lakes, IL

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   | If you look around a little, you should be able to find a support group in your area too. Even if you have to drive a distance to get to one, I'd highly recommend it. I attend 3 support meetings per month. I stopped going at 7 months post op, and gained some 20 pounds. That got me back to support meetings, where I've finally got to under 200 pounds.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Thanks Dave, there is one support group I attend but I used to attend a meeting in Hawaii that was so informative and we even had walks together before the meeting, and well this one seems to just be a "look at me" contest....I don't really learn anything that helps me with my journey and most of the people in this group don't talk about exercise or even food for that matter. It's like everyone is catching up with who's kid is in this college and who's husband got this promotion....Ive been trying to find another wls support group
