| What The Hell???
OK AFTER TELLING YOU GUYS IN MY "HELP ME" THREAD THAT I HAVE BEEN EATING SO CRAZY, BREAKING ALL RULES, EATING CARBS, DUMPING AND THEN EATING AGAIN AND JUST DOING THE WORSE I HAVE EVER DONE SINCE I HAVE BEEN ON THIS JOURNEY.
TODAY I THINK I WILL BE ON TRACK AGAIN! I HOPE SO, NOT ONLY BECAUSE IM AFRAID OF GAINING BUT BECAUSE I WAS FEELING LIKE REAL CRAP EATING THAT WAY. NOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!
ANYWAYS THIS MORNING I WEIGHED MYSELF AND DEF PREPARED MYSELF THAT I MIGHT OF GAINED 2 OR 3 LBS. WELL I ENDED UP LOSING AN OTHER POUND . ( AND I WEIGHED MYSELF AFTER I DRANK MY PROTEIN DRINK) THAT I COULDNT UNDERSTAND AT ALL. NOW YOU GUYS KNOW IM ALWAYS THE ONE TELLING YOU TO SHOCK THE BODY AND UP YOUR CALORIES FOR A WHILE TO HELP YOU GET RID OF THE STALL. BUT THIS WAS DIFFERENT. ALSO I WENT DOWN IN MY PANTS SIZE . I HAD BOUGHT A PAIR OF SHORTS ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND THEY WERE REALLY TIGHT BUT I LOVED THEM SO I BOUGHT THEM AND FIGURED THEY WOULD JUST FIT AFTER THE BABY AND I LOSE MORE WT. WELL TODAY I HAD THEM ON AND NOT ONLY DID THEY FIT BUT I WAS ABLE TO STICK MY ARM DOWN MY SHORTS .
I WILL NOT TELL DH ABOUT ALL THIS BECAUSE HE WILL FLIP . HE WAS A LITTLE UPSET WHEN HE SAW THAT I HAD LOST WT LAST WEEK. IF THINGS KEEP UP LIKE THIS I MIGHT JUST HIT THE CENTURY CLUB WHILE IM PREG, TRUST ME NOT THAT IM AIMING FOR THAT AT ALL! DOC - WHEN I WAS PREG LAST TIME I WAS ABLE TO AFFORD TO LOSE WT WHILE I WAS PREG SINCE I WAS SO HEAVY BUT WHAT CAN I AFFORD THIS TIME??? AGAIN NOT THAT IM TRYING TO LOSE WT.

You could be losing weight but maybe the baby is taking most of your nutrients. I lost 25lbs with my second pregnancy but then again I was overweight before getting pregnant.

True Queen The Baby I Guess Could Be Taking The Nutrients. I Just Figured It Was A Bit Early For The Baby To Take In Much. But Also What About People Who Maintain Or Even Gain Wt When Pregnant? How Much Are They Eating??? Cause Believe The Past Few Days I Ate Alot, Esp Carbs, Etc. I Still Dont Get It. Im Trying Really Hard To Maintain So The Docs Dont Say Anything To Me Esp Dh. Cause Like I Said B4 He Will Flip 3x If I Lose Anymore While Preg. ESP SINCE HE COMMENTED THAT MY JEANS ARE GETTING BIG!!!
This Will Def Be An Interesting Journey Till The Baby Is Born.
Thank YOU Dawn And Queen For Your Support. Some Of You Must Think She Is Complaining That She Lost?!?!? But The Thing Is Im Finding This To Be Very Pressuring Because Its So Important To Maintain Right Now. Thats Why Im Asking Doc About The Losing Thing.

Well, looking at your stats, your BMI is 28, so you are still 3 points above the normal weight range or, BMI 24.9. Translated into lbs, that's 14lbs, so I figure you still can afford to lose that (give 'em to the growing baby) and still be okay.
You've been told to get in 1200 kcals, right?
Well, if you were at say, 120lbs, your maintenace cal for that is about 1400-1600, depending on your daily activities. With diabetic preggos, here, we tell them to add 150kcals daily to their regular maintenance cals during the first half of the pregnancy, and 350kcals during the last half. This should result in minimal weight gain--only enough weight for the baby, the amniotic fluids, and the placenta, which should total to around 8-9lbs on the average. (I know I wrote this before)
I think you don't really need to worry about this, just keep your ob in the loop so he can look out for you.

You have soemone inside of you making some of the decisions now as far as what you want to eat, thats a challenge. I would think dumping would be a good deterrent but you seem to have come to terms with it which is scary. Eating is okay, especially when you are still losing, the baby is asking for it. I don't remember, is this your first? Go to the baby book and see what you should be feeding that baby to make him or her happy, maybe it will help. I know you know this but carbs..... they up those cravings which is gonna make it worse for you. Be aware of that. Doc told you, you haven't lost too much, your baby is still getting fed. But eating like crap and feeling like crap, more than you normally do when you're pregnant, your bring that on yourself. Be proud of maintaining, we all dream of that. Feed that baby good stuff, thats what you should be thinking about. Maybe someone should put out a book on feeding them for gastric bypass patients, their has to be articles somewhere. Keep your chin up and re-focus, that's what we're all here for. Do you have a little bump yet? We wanna see.
