Welcome to Losing It with Jillian Michaels, the newsletter designed to help you shed pounds, increase energy, and finally get fit for life!

Do the Work!
I love when I see people getting excited about doing the work that will help them reach their goals! Most people have no real concept of how strong they are or what their potential really is. My workouts are tough because I know you're strong enough to do them! (And of course, because they have to be tough to get results!) I set out to kick your ass knowing that you'll only get stronger, and the stronger you get physically, the stronger you will become in every other way. Here's what one member has to say about doing my program's hard work:
"When you were in elementary school studying and trying to get an A in class, how'd you get it? You had to do the work. Yes, we actually have to put forth some effort and consistency in order to burn away that fat.
I always say that going to the gym is like going to the laundromat. Getting there is half the battle, and once you're there, you're fine. It requires a little thought, some preparation, and yes, effort. Regardless of where you work out — at the gym or at home — you still need to put in your time and do the work. When you start seeing changes in your body, feeling more confident in yourself and your everyday life, and truly believe that you are worth the effort, then you will choose to do it each and every time."

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I received the same email. It is so true what she says. I have my own "Jillian" to make sure I put in the work believe me. Today I was teling her what my nut said and she yelled at me for not telling her before class started so she could kick my butt. The next challenge is to do the treadmill for 1 week at 3.5 for 40 minutes. Wish me luck!

Good luck.... would suggest just doing 20 minutes each day (on the treadmill) for say, 5 days a week, until you get used to it. Also starting at 3.0 might also be a good idea. Looks like you have a good start. Keep up the good work!
