Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Im so excited!!!! I had scheduled my first consult with the sergeon for Aug 30th a whole 8 weeks away! I just got a call telling me that they have a cancelation and i got moved up! The appt is tomorrow, Im so excited, I just had to share my good news.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.  |

| WLS Master Guru | That is so great when appointments get moved up, isn't it? While I was waiting for surgery, I could not get an appt. with the psych for almost a month. I explained to the receptionist that I needed my surgery done before I went back to work, and she said no one really ever cancelled. Well, later that day............bam.........someone cancelled and I got in for the next day. This DEFINITELY helped me as I was able to have my surgery before school opened last fall. Good luck ot you. S

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  My first consult was a breeze. I met with the nutrionist doctor and physc. They said that I have to come to another appt on 9/1 and I have to bring my husband. Also that I cant gain any weight other wise the will push back a surgery date, right now they are looking at october for scheduling. So they figure thats where I will fall. thats in like 10 weeks, yippie!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  | WOW to awesome.... glad your appointment got moved in and you got in much earlier! MY surgeon requires paitents to loose 10 percent of there weight. ITS proven to reduce complication rates. SO not gaining weight is a good thing too. DONT get into an awful last supper mode. AT some point you will eat all foods just in small portions. GOOD LUCK and keep us posted this sounds very exciting.
