I am having my surgery on 5/15/08. I would like to know what are the things I can drink the first week. Also, do you feel full after drinking? That is what I am most worried about, that I won't feel full.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congrats!!! The main focus will be water, water and more water. I was allowed to drink anything that was SF, Decaf and NON carbonated.

Hello and welcome!
The first 7 - 10 days clear liquids for me were - decaf tea, sugar free flovored waters, crystal light in water, chicken broth, beef broth, I had tried those isopure clear sugar free protein waters (even made them into popsicles) I hated them but I had to get protein from somewhere while I was still in 'clear liquid', the beef and chicken broth also had some protein. Sugar free jello was good too. By 10 - 14 days I was allowed full liquid, which is creamy soup, V8, really waterd down farina or baby cerial, skim milk. In the full liquid stage you can start adding the powdered protein. Don't worry about feeling full - you really won't even want much! You'll almost have to remind yourself to drink the first few days - which is actually a good idea - you can only sip so much at a time - so having some plan - a few ounces every 1/2 hour or so is a good idea. Good luck and ask what ever you need to.

I drank crystal light. It was tough and the whole day focused around drinking because it took all day and you're lucky to drink 1/2 of what you're supposed to!
