| WLS Mentor  |  baby turtle so i told you all about running over the turtle awhile ago and the crack that it's shell made, it was a fairly big one, maybe 2 of 3 years old. well the other day when Roo and i were driving i was going over a bridge and just happened to notice a small thing moving across the road. so i stopped so i wouldn't run over it and to see what it was, it was a baby turtle. not even as big around as the palm of my hand, he was so cute, and he was going pretty fast for a turtle. he would take three or four steps and then stop for a few secs, then took a few more steps and another rest. we watched him cross in front of us (good thing this was an out of the way bridge with little traffic and nobody was behind me). anyway, Roo commented that he was suprised i saw it it was so small and considering i turned the other turtle into turtle wax, (funny him), so i'm still insisting that that other turtle jumped in front of me when it saw me coming.

I know last end of AUGUST i had a stranded mega sized turtle in my neighbors yard, and stuck being he is fenced on all sides but one...so i phone the local turtle rescue association and they came out and relocated him to the ponds down by the lake. THE old geezer seemed to get off track some how. I felt good doing this and i think my turtles picture is ont here web site now!

| WLS Mentor |  no i didn't move the little guy but we watched until he had crossed the road safely and was on his way down the slope to the lake. Sorry i thought i already said we watched it cross but i see now that i didn't say he got across safely. yeah well the turtle wax comment was funny, but i bet that turtle wouldn't think so glad you saved that one in your neighbors yard friend, sometimes they do get off track, sometimes i think they are just exploring, or as in the case of my first turtle encounter they become suicidale.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | YEAH FREEBIRD it is a debatable issue what to do when one sees a seemingly lost or mis routed turtle...they say its not good to move it but this turtle last summer was so off track...he had to be saved. HE would have never figured out how to get out from my neighbors yard. ITS hard but i had to do something. I guess its the circle of life that some will get hurt. WHO KNOWS hugzzzzzzzzzzz

| WLS Mentor | and just because we think it is off track....maybe it's just going to visit another turtle, or maybe it's decided to move since they take their homes on their backs. sea turtles lay hundreds of eggs and once they hatch the babies have to find their way to the water, some get eaten by predators, some get lost and don't make it, but nature must know what it's doing since there are still sea turtles. However the turtles are safe until next week because the part to fix the truck to pass the e-test won't come in till next monday so we probably won't have it back till tuesday or wednesday
