Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  I Dumped! Whoo Hoo! It was a "slow dump" as my nutritionist described. Just a sudden feeling of "OMG I gotta lie down NOW" about 20 minutes after admittedly drinking my breakfast shake too fast. No  but I was waiting for it. There was never nausea nor pain...just, well, the overwhelming desire to take a nap. I went upstairs and woke up the DH (retired  ) and asked him to take our 11 year old to school as I crawled back into bed for about an hour. Never slept. Just laid there and vegetated.I didn't like that. Now I know. That will NOT be appropriate behavior when I return to work in 4 weeks.

If I have somthing schuduled for the day...... I make sure I eat at least 2 hours before leaving my home because of this. This way if i do dump i have time to recover. It has gotten alot better now but it will still come up and get ya if you dont watch it close. |
