Default Insomnia/Waking up too early

Someone let me know if I am posting to many new threads, please. lol

In my workday usually, I fall asleep about 10 PM and wake up at 6AM.

For the past 5 days, I have awakened at 4-4:45 AM. WIDE awake. I get up and post or chat or do something else silent until the rest of the family begin to rise. I still don't fall asleep at night until 10 or so.

Anyone else? Will this pass? I feel a bit zombic...not alert.

Going back to bed now.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I am no help to you, I am an insomnic. I have not slept for more than two hours straight in years. My doc has given me sleeping pilss and while they put me to sleep, they don't keep me there. I have just learned to deal with it. I never feel rested!

It dies get better. I remember being wide awake for days after my surgery...no matter how long I was asleep, it was time for me to get up! Sometimes it would be 2am and my body felt like it was 7am and time to get up and moving! you are still adjusting to some major work. Just remember to listen to your body.

I had the same problem. I was sleeping straight through the night, so I got a more restful sleep and woke up early. It did go away though. I'm back to waking up frequently and being tired in the morning.

Immed postop my sleep cycle was def affected, but I sleep better now than I did pre-op -- better quality of sleep. Just keep doing the things you're supposed to do to help yourself sleep and get some cat naps if the lack of sleep drags you down too much.
