Ok so I have to be honest here...today sucks. I woke up feeling down in the dumps. Called my MIL to wish her a happy Moms day and she couldnt talk because she was having a BBQ with tons of people, so I called my Mom and she couldnt talk because she wanted to go plant some flowers. My sister was at work so she and I couldnt talk. So then my daughter comes home from a sleepover and informs me that she wants to go to the store to buy this stuffed called Nexon Cash (its for an online game she plays) with her babysitting money she earned the night before, that bummed me out because when she asked me if she could babysit she told me it was because she wanted to earn money to get me someting for mothers day, instead she spent that money on stupid internet cash, anyways. I havent heard from Will since tuesday, he is on a mission and Lord only knows when I'll hear from him. I would really like to drown my sorrows in a pint of butter pecan Ice Cream but we all know what that would get me and I so dont want to feel like crap physically too so here I sit, a self pitty party going on...maybe I'll just take a nap

Awe I am so sorry...Step away from the sweets though. My three didnt get me anything either,breakfast.......... but my youngest sons GF made me a huge linen and stuff basket and I'm not her mom. She lost her mom 2 months ago to stupid cancer and she is here right now sobbing,poor thing, I feel bad,and quilty and I dont know what all....so I see the feeling for ice cream.

awww I am so sorry for your sons GF...give her a hug from me. I havent lost my Mom but I have lost my dad and know how hard that is. poor girl. Ya know Kath its not really the fact that she didnt buy me anything, but damn a home made card would of been nice. The boys made me 2 home made cards yesterday with little notes written on them. I guess my feelings just got hurt because she specificaly said she was babysitting for money to do something nice for me, and then I dont even get a handmade card or anything.

My two sons live at home and my daughter does not she did come over with a card and that was enough. Dont get me wrong either, I didnt WANT anything and I guess at least they remembered the day, as for my sons GF, I have my parents and I dont know how she feels... She just left, I feel sssoooo bad for her. I tried to say the right thing but......... so hang in there at your end and I will in mune. Although I just had a piece of my 60 cal..dark chocolate. It helps a little lol Kathy

Thanks Y'all....I am over myself. My hubby called  and cheered me up. He has always made mothers day extra special even when I was pregnant with our 1st child. Poor thing had to get up at 1:00 a.m. to hitch a ride into Camp Liberty to get to the phone to call me. Anyways my daughter ended up making me a card and the boys well they gave me cards yesterday and my 5 yr old made me a fan out of paper...the best of the best was that I didnt binge at all today so thats good. I wanted to but didnt so in the end I survived
