Default i'm so happy

i've been stuggling for over a year now to get my blood sugar levels under control, i found a med that helped keep them down but couldn't stay on it because of side effects, recently i went on a lower dose of that med and add a full laxative to each half pill of the other, works, no harsh effects as before, but still last week i was wondering if i would have to increase the dose again, decided to wait till i see the dr. next week, so yesterday and today my levels have been normal, 5.8 was the highest and 4.5 was the lowest. My levels have not been so good for such a long time. i have to have them under control before the surgery so i think i'm doing good. sorry just had to share

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hey, that's great to hear, I was wondering how you are doing!!
I think your good eating habits and your medication is doing what needs to be done!!
Congrats!

thanks Doc.
i almost had a heart attack yesterday though, it was about 11am and i checked my bs and found it at 20, i was soooo shocked that i tested myself three more times and all three came out around 5 something, so i checked my little hand booklet and it probably registered at 20 because i either didn't test properly, or i had sugar or something on my finger. so i'm still ok.

I know how that blood sugar goes....you think you do your best at watching what you eat/drink.....and then poof! iT'S HIGH! After WLS, i don't have to take meds anymore, but my brother on 2 shots of insulin a day after WLS was so good he could completly quit his shots. But now after 8 months, his sugar has rose a little and is nowback on 1 pill.
Hang in there......you'll do good

Good luck Freebird...you have been working so hard so much lately. I am sure that all will be well as a result of that hard work.
