Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  2 Week Postop Appt. I guess I am doing so well that the surgeon said I don't have to come back until 3 months post-op. That is in July! I said, but the important question is....CAN I HAVE SOME GREEN BEANS NOW?? He said sure for the next two weeks anything that is blended and wet can be eaten. YIPPEE! My daughter is receiving math honors tonight and we are having my dad over for a pre awards dinner of salmon veggies and artichokes. I am having pureed chicken, pureed green beans and a little mash potato! YUM! (I don't like fish and I only bought enough artichokes for the hard food eaters)

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Thanks, friends, for the support and advise. My daughter gave me a couple artichoke leaves and they were HEAVENLY and like totally OK, diet wise. I put in 1/5 of a artichoke in fitday and it came up as 12 calories! LOL The looks of the blended chicken was a bit odd. But hey, I have eaten uglier. Hub made the dinner, but I love to cook. I cooked for the family for Mother's Day. Just something I do.
