Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Ok yesterday we went to outback yesterday and I got the fillet medallions for lunch and it went fairly well but I ate only a little. And I ate a little bit later on in the day while it was still not cold from the fridge. WEll I get up today and have some for lunch.. Most of the time I can heat stuff up easy with a little water and just make it warm and I is ok well not the case today. OMG I had the worst foamies for an hour then after all that and pain to boot It was like the best part..lol..Then I felt better and waited and just had a yogurt but I will not ever eat red meat if it is not fresh made that was horrid. And with every thing else going on.. WEll it did take my mind of my other problems.. And BTW I will make sure I listen next time because most of you cant eat red meat at all let alone reheat..lol.. Swat me upside the head.. Other then that I have been good with eating I have not found much that doesnt agree with me. But that was a very uch disagree..lol.. Other then that I am hanging in waiting for my next cancer clinic appointment to see all my drs and make my plan of action. I am doing a lot of research to refresh my memory so I know what all they are talking about it makes it easier. I wish it was next wed though its going to be a long week and half guys.. |

Lisa I can tolerate most red meat if it is fresh the first day I fix it - I chew it a lot and if I can't break it down to puree I just spit it into a napkin - I have the nausea problems with reheated meat so I don't have it any more. Judy

Poor Lisa. I am sorry you are sicky. ![]() I love beef. That will be one of my greatest challenges...the thought of not enjoying a good steak. I have had browned ground beef with broccoli, with no problem. On the week before my surgery, I had hub take me to Outback. I had prime rib. Hub looked at me and said, "Will you ever be able to again??" I told him I would just take a corner of his meal, and pay for a plate. He conceded that he could probably do without 1/4 of his meals. Now THAT is sacrifice, believe me!

Sorry to hear that this happened to you, as for red meat the only red meat that I eat now is hamburger, I was told not to do steak or other until I was at least a yr out, so I haven't even tried it, guess you could say that maybe I am a little scared to try it, I figure it is ok I don't really need it anyway.
