Default My LA trip

It was awesome!! Funny how the studio looks much larger and glamorous on TV though. It was actually quite small and not near as impressive as it looks, we were seated in the front row of the balcony facing the judges, so we had pretty good seats. Kristy and Jason did amazing routines. After the show Entertainment Tonight, E!, and several other reporters interviewed the stars, At first Edyta and Jason did not come out to be interviewed, someone literally went in the back and dragged them out. They seemed very unhappy, I think it was because from the very beginning of the show the judges acted like Kristy had already won before they even did their final dances. Also the chick that does the interviews while waiting for the scores cut them off mid sentence, not once but twice. I think they felt that they didn't have a chance no matter how well they danced. Kristy could have fallen on her ass and she would have won even though it was supposed to be based on Tuesday's dancing. No doubt, Kristy deserved to win, but I think the judges could have at least acted like the others may have a chance. Boy, does Jason have a beautiful body!! I would love to get him in the sack! LOL I wasn't impressed with Christian's dancing, I think he played the sympathy card way too much about his arm. I was tired of hearing him whine about it in every interview for the last three weeks.

As far as the stars that were there............Kate Linder (Esther) was there. She is actually a very beautiful woman, they certainly dress her down on Y&R. Several of the prior dancers were there. Oh, and Henry Winkler was in the audience, he is looking old, but I guess he is no spring chicken anymore. I talked to the new bachelorette for this season, she is very sweet and although she was mum on whether she has found a hubby to be, she sure acted happy. I told her I thought she is much to beautiful for that dude that dumped her anyway, he was an ass! Lots of other familiar faces, but I am not up on my tv stars so I am not sure of their names,

I did go shopping on Rodeo Drive, bought a cute shirt for a mere $235.00. I really wanted some Jimmy Choo shoes, but couldn't make myself kick out the $$ for those. Our room at the Beverly Hills Wilshire was really quite small, I can't imagine paying $595.00 for it which is the regular room rate. It is not a place you would want to get drunk at. We had dinner at the "cheap" restaurant in the hotel the first night. We had a total of 2 drinks, one iced tea, 2 small steaks, one order of new potatoes ands one order of steamed asparagus and our bill before tip was $258. I about shit my pants when I saw that a plain old Bloody Mary was $19.00. The next morning we ordered 1 continental breakfast, some fresh berries, and a glass of milk from room service and the bill was $143.00. I guess I can't afford to live in Beverly Hill's with Jed Clampett!! Not much to do around there in the late evening, everything seems to shut down early. Did not have time to go to Hollywood or tour the stars homes, etc.

So, it was a fun experience, but I have no desire to go back. Too much smog and traffic for me. I like my small town living, I can't imagine living in such a big city. And the $6nBloody Mary'sn heretastes better than those $19 ones

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Holy Cow! I am only 40 minutes away from Rodeo...I guess I am happy for that. I HATE spending >$300 for a room or >100 for dinner. Makes me insane. lol

Glad you liked LA...Glad we could give you some good weather!
