Ya me too... I found a forum that my sister Sally is on, she had WLS in 2003, she lives in Conn. and the attitude there is strange, even tho she grew up here in Fargo, this forum has a different feeling about it.

I am originally from the west coast actually...but feel more at home on the east coast...lol. I agree though that it is pretty easy after awhile to spot the fakes and the for real people. It is unfortunate that people feel like they have to behave that way. I hope that you're sticking around with us for the long haul...lol.

I stumbled on this website by accident too....how funny. I was researching celebs having the surgery and one ad led to another for this site and I have been hooked ever since. I am so grateful I found it. I haven't bothered with any other wls websites since.

I also found this site accidently...don't even remember how but so glad I did. Like Chuppy, I have no support group here, where I live. My surgery was done 3 1/2 hrs. away.
Being so blessed that I found such a wonderful group of special people, I actually can get emotional thinking about the understanding, help and support here. It's great reading all the posts. It strengthens my resolve and many times sets me "straight". I really need you all. Thank you so much!
