I lost my job yesterday...and I'm upset, but kinda relieved....I'm looking at it as an opportunity to something better...my heart is broken, as I have given the last 6 years to this company and I think my boss just made a huge mistake....I will have a job soon, so I'm not worried about that. I've been in my industry for 20 years and know a LOT of people. Couldn't sleep last night...charlie horses....went out in the garage to smoke...and when I was coming back in, I felt light headed....before I knew WHAT happened, I woke up, finding myself in the middle of the laundry room floor saying 'OW...OW' Apparently, I passed out coming in the door....hit my head, hurt my neck, have bruise on my thigh...I don't know what the hell happened, but I was laying there in a cold sweat, thinking "I just had a heart attack"!!! I figured out I was on the floor, but have no memory of how I got there. I think I just fainted.... This morning, I feel like I've been hit by a MAC truck....sore, but I seem to be OK.... |

OM gosh, Kath I'm so sorry. Did they say why they had to let you go? Was is a total surprise? Their loss will be someone else's gain! And as for passing out, did you go get checked to make sure you didn't have a concussion? Any vision changes? I'd at least call the doc and let him know what happened and ask his opinion. That is really strange, but I hope you'll feel better soon. Well today is a new day and after yesterday it can only get better, right?!

not a total surprise....I've known my boss for years...he was my client before I went to work for him....he indicated they were going in a different direction and making changes...and that they were starting with me....it's a long story, but hopefully, a blessing in disguise....I've been in the industry a long time and have MANY contacts....so I'm not too worried....and I needed a rest....I've killed myself, trying to make it happen. Lately, it seems like he's been so narrow-minded....and I was about ready to quit, but refused to...if he wanted to screw things up, that was up to him....

I know Lisa....there are no accidents in God's world and everything happens for a reason....my knowledge in this industry is unsurpassed, and there are already a few possibilities out there for me... The passing out thing I'm attributing to not eating...I didn't realize it until DDH asked, but I didn't eat yesterday....I had a protein shake for breakfast...and TONS of water (which accounts for the charlie horses).... TODAY WILL BE A BETTER DAY!!! |

(((((((HUGS))))))) When a door closes, a new one always opens. As for the fainting, it may have been not eating, but let your dr know what happened. It's summer, get some swim suits (I bet the ones you posted pics of a while ago are falling off you by now) and relax in the pool.
