| My update
I start my new job on Monday. Its at a big clinic. I still have a 45 minute drive one way to work but its cutting 15 mins off from my old job. I will be a floater nurse for right now. I was offered either stationary work in one office or to float around as needed. I chose the float postion so I can deterimine which field I like working in best. ( The supervisor loved the idea of me floating because she has 3 new Drs comming in at the end of summer and early fall so I would get first dibbs if I like the field.)
It will all be in one building but in different speciality areas. There are a couple of satalitte clinics I may have to go to occasionally but there less than 15 mins from the main site. Im excited! I got the final call about this yesterday. The background etc screening they have to do on you is massive plus passing all the testing. I would swear I was gonna work for the FBI ! LOL. I knew I had this job last week however I wanted the final call for orentation to come in before telling anyone for sure. (I have acutally turned down 2 jobs since this one opened up at other clinics.)
This is the best paying job I have ever had. I thought I was stuck at my last job thinking I couldnt go into a new job making the money I did but I was really wrong. This is a lesson to anyone out there wanting to make a change. You might just get a really good pay raise like I did. No.... money isnt everything and being content in your job is worth more than the paycheck sometimes but it helps getting paid what your worth.
I had another Synvisc injection in my knee this week. Its really helping alot. The pain patch is doing a great job with the Arthritis also.

Yippee! If you do drive to the satellite offices, be sure to get a mileage reimbursement. My employer has 12 offices and some of the techs are floats...they really like the monthly mileage check!
I go back to work on Monday. I am a little stressed over having everything I will need, food wise.

Kathy im sure it will. I hated posting about this because of what happened with yours yesterday. You almost feel betrayed dont ya. You will find somthing more exciting to do im sure. Its all in a plan.
Judy, I know what you mean about foods and work. I have been out of work since Dec. I had only went back for 2 weeks ( one of those weeks were half days) after surgery and didnt eat anything before I lost my job permeantly.
Me and carrots get along well so Im sure I will carry those with me along with some type of a protein for lunch I know I can handle.
Thanks for all the well wishes. Im excited. Im ready to go back now after all these months being off. However..... I will say after my ordeal with everything I needed those months off for my own mentality.
