Default Champagne tastes, beer budget

I have always wanted to pamper myself with a retreat at a health spa, but no way I can afford the thousands of dollars a week and 1-2 days just won't cut it. So I got to thinking...cruise ships these days have fabulous fitness programs including classes anywhere from Pilates to nutrition, great gym facilties, saunas steam rooms. Actvities up the gazoo. Special menus such as Royal Carribean's shipshape options. And all of the spa treatments. Plus room service and maid service. New adventures, etc.

So long as we keep our mitts off the midnight chocolate buffet.

So, on a whim I went to skyauction.com to see what was up and I ended up purchasing a 9 night cruise out of Baltimore (where some of my family lives) on Royal carribean for Sept. 15. The entire cost including port charges, taxes and agent fee was $550. I called up my Mom and asked, "Wanna go?" and she said, "sure!!" She's game for anything so long as I plan it.

I have such a cool hubby, despite my moaning. I told him when he got home and he said, "OK just don't get into trouble". That's because two of the times I visited my Mom in LA I came home with Basset hounds, and when we were supposed to take a cross- atlantic cruise I called him from Tunisia, and once we ended up in Szechuan instead of Beijing...he doesn't even want to know anymore!

I'm going to stay a week afterwards with a fellow wlser I have visited before.

Parasailing, SCUBA,anything I want to do because

I"M NOT FAT ANYMORE!!!!

Yippeee!

You should see the gorgeous dress I got for formal night. It does me more favors than anyonehas a right to. I didn't even have an occasion for it when I bough it, but a few times in a lifetime, something just hits the mark.

However, I have been slacking at the gym and now have to drop ten pounds or I'll look like a sausage in it.

This is so much more fun than being 370, stuffing my face with chips guac and beer, watching meaningless TV!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

That sounds absolutely wonderful. Were your tickets $550 each or both for $550? I think I need to check into such a great deal like that. I could use a great get away!

Have tons of fun

Per person. That's $55/day incl taxes and port charges. I can't even cook that variety of food here for that, much less everything else.

What a great deal, My hubby and I went on a cruise in Feb and paid only 449.00 pp. I love cruises. Also just to let you know, you dont have to stay completley away from the midnight buffet, the do have other stuff besides sweets, ours had fruits and veggies and cheese too. Plus its good to go for just all the fun and Ice sculptures that they make. You will have a wonderful time, Enjoy

Hey...I think that a cruise would be a GREAT place for all of us to try and get together!!! Maybe we could even get some kind of group rate. Any travel agent types out there??? Maybe we can plan for something!!!
What do you all think?

I have always wanted to go on a cruise, but no offense...I never planned on my first being with a bunch of friends from online....lol. I was kinda more so envisioning a romantic getaway with just me and hubby....lol. I do want to take a cruise sometime next summer though if we can afford it. If not, I will make hubby take me the next summer while we still live so close to NYC where a lot of cruises leave from. I hope that you have a wonderful time.
